Performance Analytics.
A part time statistician with the OHL Club since 2011, I was tasked with developing a performance analytics program for the 2016-17 season. With no budget and limited resources, I enlisted the support of Laurentian University Sports Analytics Professor Dr. Claude Vincent to assist in the creation of the program. The program evolved in my second term with the club to include analysis of on-ice statistics and video, monitoring player and team trends throughout the season.
Game Performance
Oversaw the collection of basic and advanced statistics both at home and on the road. Once collected, manage the reporting of data and trend analysis to coaching, management, and ownership.
Video Tracking
Tracked player shifts on video using the Pointstreak Performance app. Communicated with NHL Clubs and agents to ensure they received video of their prospects.
Prospect Evaluation
Created a Prospect Success Model, evaluating and predicting the success of over 1000 players from the previous five OHL drafts.
Marketing.
While leading the Sudbury Five’s Marketing efforts, I also contributed to the marketing and communications efforts of the Sudbury Wolves. Promoted to the Senior Marketing Coordinator for Sudbury Wolves Sports & Entertainment in May, I assisted in the management of marketing and communication of all three SWSE properties; Sudbury Wolves, Sudbury Five, and the Sudbury Spartans.
Creative Design
Contributed to campaign design as well as expanding agency led campaigns to new ad spaces.
Communications
Over my year with the SWSE organization, I had a hand in every press release released by the Wolves by either writing or editing the content.
Sales Support
Created proof of performance reports for all corporate partners for the Sudbury Wolves & The Sudbury Five.
